After gaining a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, Jason went on to study drama. He has appeared in many high profile TV shows over his 15 year career including; Silent Witness, The Bill, Casualty and Walk Away and I stumble, to name a few. His enthusiastic and personable style led him in the natural direction of presenting where his knowledge and technical interests are wide ranging.
A competing gymnast for 15 years, Jason’s natural athleticism led him easily into a career as a climber and mountaineering instructor and he now holds one of the highest climbing qualifications. Jason guides people over 7000m peaks in the Himalayas and other big mountain ranges, he also led a British team to conquer and name two new peaks in the Indian Himalaya.
Jason cycled from John O’Groats to Lands End with a tent and child, ski toured across the Alps and walked across Patagonia. He ice-climbs regularly as well as competing in triathlons and endurance races and does the odd bit of Scuba diving.
Jason is a sought-after expert when it comes to the outdoors.
He owns a classic car, has renovated six properties himself and has deejayed: it’s hard to pinpoint an area Jason isn’t interested in; married to an artist and chef just about encompasses all areas.
Jason has presented a host of live events for Microsoft, Living Aboard TV and Redbull and presented an instructional DVD on Rock Climbing. He travelled the country hosting the Tasting Festivals with a number of celebrity chiefs and recently played Clive in Clarrisa and Clive’s toolshed, a satirical look at presenters in a DIY shopping channel. Jason is currently working on a new secret car show!
Jason is a professional, hard working presenter who thrives on being thrown in at the deep end, literally.

" I did want to say that your CloudDirect video is just a brilliant idea and superbly executed "
